About Ryan
Originally from Southern California, Ryan moved to Arizona to attend the W.P Carey Business School at Arizona State University, after playing two seasons for the Men’s Golf Team at Palomar College in North San Diego County. In addition to the business school, he joined the PGA Professional Golf Management program, a member of the final graduating class of PGA professionals from the university. His PGA internships were completed at Ancala Country Club, Torreon Golf Club, Whisper Rock Country Club and Mesa Country Club, resulting in his election to PGA membership in 2014. Since being elected to PGA membership, he was recruited as a member of the opening team for the redesign & rebirth of the iconic Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona as their Head Golf Professional in 2016. Following the pandemic, he joined Raven Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona as their Assistant General Manager, then ultimately leading him to Gainey Ranch Golf Club in 2022. His wife, Kat, and he love the active Arizona lifestyle, exploring the state with their two dogs. They also love camping, traveling, trying new restaurants, attending concerts and spending time with friends. He looks forward to opportunities to share more with each of you and hopes to see you on the course soon!

About Randy
Randy comes from a long line of “Arizonans." As a 5th generation Arizona native, he completed his high school education at Shadow Mountain High School, attended Phoenix College on a two-year golf scholarship, and then attended Arizona State University. Randy began his golf career in outside service and then as an assistant professional at the former Scottsdale Country Club, followed by an assistant professional position at Acacia Country Club in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Upon returning from Ohio, Randy accepted a position at The Orange Tree Golf Resort, where he spent 27+ years working as an assistant professional, then Head Golf Professional, and finally Director of Golf Operations. Randy has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America - Southwest Section since 1990. He joined Gainey Ranch Golf Club as PGA Director of Player Development in the fall of 2012 and has been an instrumental part of the team ever since. Besides his many work accomplishments, Randy has had an extensive and successful playing career within the PGA Southwest Section with numerous individual, professional team, and pro-am victories in both junior, and now senior tournaments . As a senior player in the Southwest Section PGA, he earned Player of the Year honors in 2017 and again in 2019. Randy's wife, Jeanne, is a longtime flight attendant with Delta Airlines, and they share a daughter Taylor.

About Dean
Dean joined Gainey Ranch Golf Club as Head Golf Professional in April of 2024. Dean attended Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and studied Business Management with a specialization in Golf Management. He did multiple golf internships in college, including 2 internships at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. After earning his Class A PGA membership in 2020, he moved to Arizona and worked at Desert Mountain Golf Club and TPC Scottsdale as their Lead Assistant Golf Professional. His favorite golf memory was passing the Playing Ability Test (PAT) in high school on the number with his dad as his caddie
Rob Hammer, PGA

About Rob
Rob has been a PGA Professional since 2010. He Graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. He spent several years pursuing a playing career, has won multiple times as a professional and advanced through stage 1 of Qualifying School. Rob has learned from the nation’s top instructors including Jim Mclean, Randy Smith, Mike Malaska and Ben Weir. Rob grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah but fell in love with Arizona in college. After being an instructor in Utah for several years, he is excited to be back in Arizona. Rob was runner up for Teacher of the Year 2019 in the Utah PGA Section. When he is not golfing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids named Elsie, Jackson and Greyson.
Kay Cornelius

About Kay
Kay Cornelius is an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional, renowned for her contributions to golf both as a player and as an educator. Living in Arizona since 1970, Kay's journey in golf was influenced by her parents. Her father, Bill Cornelius, was a PGA Life Member, while he mother, Kathy Cornelius, won seven tournaments on the LPGA Tour, including the 1956 US Women’s Open Championship. Together, Kay and Kathy hold the unique distinction of being the only mother-daughter USGA Champions. Kay's competitive career is highlighted by her participation in 19 USGA Championships from 1979 to 1987. At 14 years old, she became the youngest winner of the US Girls' Junior Championship in 1981, a record that still resonates in the golf community. In 1988, the same year she graduated from Stanford University, she earned NCAA All-American honors. After turning professional, Kay played on the Ladies' European Tour and the Ladies' Asian Tour. However, her true calling emerged in the late-1990s when she shifted her focus to teaching. Joining the LPGA Teaching Professionals, Kay has since built a stellar 25-year career, earning numerous awards including LPGA Section Teacher of the Year, the LPGA National Junior Golf Leadership Award, and being named a US Kids' Golf Top 50 Master Teacher. Additionally, she has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Best Teachers By State (AZ) for 2019-2020 and 2022-2023. Recently, she was honored as one of the LPGA’s Top 50 Best Teachers for 2024-2025.
